OT Cybersecurity

As OT systems become increasingly interconnected and digitized, the importance of cybersecurity in the OT environment has grown significantly.  Many essential services and critical infrastructure, such as power grids, water treatment plants, and transportation systems, rely heavily on OT systems. A cyber-attack on these systems could lead to widespread disruptions, economic losses, and potential threats to public safety.  Since many OT systems were designed and implemented more than a decade ago (before cybersecurity became a top priority), they often lack modern security features and are more vulnerable to cyber threats.  Therefore, establishing robust OT cybersecurity measures has become a priority for organizations and governments to protect critical infrastructure, ensure operational continuity, and mitigate the dire impact of cyber attacks in the OT environment.
